Buying Process
AGS Sheds can assist you with all of those questions that you may have when it comes to purchasing a garage, wooden storage shed or gazebo. Below are some common questions that we receive, and some answers to those common questions. How Does the Ordering Process Work?
- You can call or email us and explain your needs and what you will be using your wooden storage shed for. We will be more than happy to guide you in the direction that works best for you, and email you an itemized quote detailing the specifications and layout of the shed.
- You look over everything and make sure it is exactly how you want it.
- You can then place your order in person, in our office, or over the phone.
- Place your deposit by giving us a credit card number and we will run 50% of the invoice amount, (If total price of building is $5000 or more you would be required to mail us a check for 50% before delivery) and we will give you an estimated time for the building to be completed.
- We will then call you to schedule delivery and set up a day, usually 1-4 days in advance.
- Once our delivery expert arrives at your location, he can then determine the best option to place the structure. Most likely, the driver will use the revolutionary machine called the Mule!! Once your shed is in place, you can move in all your stuff and start using the building of your dreams!
Shed Site Preparation
AGS Sheds helps you eliminate stress by providing a one stop shop for shed foundation options. We can have our site crews install the pad for you and do the entire scheduling for you, that way you will not need to deal with multiple contractors!
Amish built cabins and sheds need a level site. On many lots, this will require some digging to eliminate grades and humps. Spending some money on site preparation for the shed will pay off since there will be less maintenance and a better appearance. A stone foundation is the best shed base but concrete is also an option.
Delivery
Our regular delivery trucks and trailers consist of F-550 pickup trucks and a 32′ trailer or a semi with a 40′-48′ trailer. We deliver pre-built sheds for a charge depending on the delivery location and size of your structure. Your site must be accessible by our truck and shed delivery trailer or accessible for us to use the Mule. If we do not have access to your site and we must bring your shed back to our shop, you will be charged an extra delivery fee. If we do not have access to your site, we can build your shed on-site for an additional 40%. We will deliver your structure directly to the prepared foundation. The delivery drivers are not responsible to do site preparations.
It is expected that our customers have their site prepared prior to delivery, whether the customer installs the site or has AGS Structure prepare the site prior to shed delivery.
